I began my career in staffing and recruiting over two decades ago, serving companies throughout Indiana, Southwest Michigan, and Northwest Ohio. Over the years, I’ve seen what happens when people are placed thoughtfully and with care. Teams get stronger. Businesses grow healthier. Individuals find purpose and stability. I’ve also seen the cost of transactional recruiting, and I knew there was a better way to serve both clients and candidates.
Kaleo exists to reflect that better way. The name itself means “to call,” and it represents a purpose of service rather than sales. We focus on relationships, clarity, and long-term fit because the right placement changes more than a role. It shapes culture, trust, and momentum.
Northeast Indiana is home for me. I was raised here, I’ve built my career here, and my wife, Melanie, and I are raising our two sons, Emerson and Christian, here as well. That personal investment drives how I lead Kaleo and how we partner with the organizations we serve. When your work and your life are rooted in the same community, accountability comes naturally.
